Terms of Service

Back & Forth convenes multiple third-party AI models to debate a question you submit and returns a synthesized report. Model selection, roster, and debate structure may change as providers evolve.

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use the Service.

• Debates consume credits based on the tier you select at run time.
• Credits are prepaid and non-refundable except where required by law. Unused credits do not expire while your account is active.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. Applicable taxes may be added at checkout.
• A debate that fails before completing is either automatically refunded to your credit balance or refundable on request.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Break the law or infringe someone else's rights.
• Submit content you do not have permission to share with third-party AI providers, including regulated data (e.g. protected health information, payment card data, or other sensitive personal data) unless you have your own legal basis to do so.
• Generate or attempt to generate malware, targeted harassment, non-consensual sexual content, or content designed to harm minors.
• Circumvent rate limits, scrape the Service, or resell access without our written agreement.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that create risk for the Service or its users.

You retain ownership of the questions and materials you submit. You grant us the limited rights needed to process them: send them to the AI providers you select, generate a report, store your debate history, and operate the Service.

AI output is generated automatically and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. The Service is decision support, not professional advice. Do not rely on it for medical, legal, financial, safety-critical, or other high-stakes decisions without independent verification by a qualified professional.

The Service relies on third-party AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, xAI, DeepSeek, Perplexity) and infrastructure providers (Lovable Cloud, Stripe). Their availability, pricing, and behavior are outside our control and may change.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Toby the Doby, LLC and its affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, or data. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or related to the Service is limited to the greater of $100 USD or the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim.

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms or where required by law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (ownership, disclaimers, limits, governing law) will survive.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, unless another venue is required by applicable consumer-protection law.

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. Material changes will be reflected in the "Updated" date above. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
